1. Introduction
Welcome to Gamedey (“Gamedey”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of:
our website at https://www.gamedeygh.com and any related domains or subdomains (the “Site”); and
our online and offline services, content, products, and features, including gaming events, esports tournaments, community activities, media content, and brand activations (together, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Site or Services.

3. Acceptance of Terms
By:
accessing or using the Site or Services;
creating a user account on the Site;
registering for or participating in any Gamedey event, tournament, league, or activation; or
purchasing any product, ticket, or service through the Site,
you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including any policies referenced in these Terms (such as our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Event/Tournament Rules).
If you are using the Site or Services on behalf of an organisation (such as a team, brand, or school), you represent and warrant that you are authorised to accept these Terms on that organisation’s behalf.
4. Changes to These Terms
We may update or modify these Terms from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice (for example, via a banner on the Site or by email).
Changes take effect when they are posted on the Site, unless otherwise stated.
Your continued use of the Site or Services after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must stop using the Site and Services.
5. Eligibility
You may use the Site and Services only if:
You are at least 13 years old; and
You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under the laws that apply to you.
If you are under the age of majority in your country of residence (for example, under 18 years in Ghana), you may only use the Site and Services, and participate in events or tournaments, under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
We may require proof of age or parental consent and may suspend or terminate your access if we cannot verify your eligibility.
6. Accounts and Security
6.1 Account Registration
To access certain features of the Site and Services (such as event registration, tournaments, leaderboards, or purchases), you may be required to create a Gamedey account (“Account”).
You agree to:
provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration;
keep your Account information (including contact details) up to date at all times.
We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel any username, handle, or account that we consider inappropriate, misleading, or in violation of these Terms.
6.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account credentials and for all activities that occur under your Account.
You agree to:
keep your password secure and not share it with any third party;
notify us immediately at support@gamedey.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your Account or other security breach;
log out of your Account at the end of each session when using a shared or public device.
We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your Account credentials.
7. Use of the Site and Services
You agree to use the Site and Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
You must not:
use the Site or Services in any manner that violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights;
harass, abuse, threaten, or harm any other user, participant, Gamedey staff member, or partner, whether online or offline;
post, upload, or share any content that is defamatory, libellous, obscene, pornographic, violent, hateful, discriminatory, or otherwise objectionable;
promote or engage in illegal activities, including illegal gambling or betting;
cheat, hack, exploit bugs, use scripts or bots, or otherwise manipulate any game, event, leaderboard, or tournament;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to any Account, system, or network related to the Site or Services;
impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation;
use the Site or Services for unsolicited advertising, spam, or any commercial solicitation not authorised by Gamedey;
reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of any software used in connection with the Services, except where permitted by law.
We may monitor use of the Site and Services, and we reserve the right to remove content, restrict access, or take any other action we deem appropriate if we believe you are violating these Terms or harming other users, Gamedey, or third parties.
8. Community, Events, and Esports
Gamedey focuses on gaming, esports, and community-driven activities. By registering for or participating in any Gamedey event, tournament, league, or activation (online or offline), you agree to the following:
8.1 Event and Tournament Registration
You must follow the registration process, requirements, and deadlines specified for each event or tournament.
Some events may have additional eligibility criteria (such as game rank, age restrictions, residency requirements, or platform-specific rules).
Specific rules for an event or tournament (including game rules, match formats, scoring systems, and penalties) are incorporated into these Terms by reference and will be published on the event or tournament page.
8.2 Code of Conduct at Events
When attending or participating in any Gamedey event, whether in person or online, you agree to:
treat all players, staff, partners, and spectators with respect;
refrain from harassment, discrimination, hate speech, bullying, and any form of abusive behaviour;
refrain from physical aggression, threats, or dangerous conduct;
comply with all instructions given by Gamedey staff, volunteers, and venue management;
follow all safety, security, and health protocols in place at the event;
refrain from using banned substances or engaging in any activity that could endanger yourself or others.
We may remove you from an event or venue, and/or ban you from future Gamedey activities, if you violate this code of conduct or any event rules.
8.3 Competitive Integrity, Cheating, and Fair Play
You must not:
cheat, collude, or engage in match-fixing;
use unauthorised software, hardware, or other tools that provide unfair advantages;
intentionally disconnect or manipulate network conditions to gain an advantage;
share accounts or use another person’s account in competitive play.
Gamedey reserves the right to investigate suspected violations, disqualify players or teams, overturn results, and impose sanctions (including bans from future events).
8.4 Prizes and Rewards
Prizes, rewards, rankings, and eligibility criteria will be specified for each event or tournament.
Gamedey may require verification of identity, age, residency, or other eligibility factors before awarding any prize.
We reserve the right to withhold, reduce, or reclaim prizes if we determine that a rule violation, error, or fraud has occurred.
Prizes may be subject to taxes or other deductions required by law. You are responsible for complying with any tax obligations related to prizes.
9. Purchases, Payments, and Refunds
Gamedey may offer products and services for sale through the Site or at events, including (but not limited to):
event and tournament tickets or entry fees;
gaming-related services, digital benefits, or memberships;
Gamedey merchandise and physical goods;
sponsorship or promotional packages (where applicable).
9.1 Pricing and Availability
All prices are displayed in Ghanaian cedi (GHS) or other currencies indicated on the Site.
Prices, products, and availability may change at any time without prior notice.
We may correct pricing or other errors even after you have placed an order, provided that we notify you and obtain your confirmation where required by law.
9.2 Payments
You agree to provide valid and accurate payment information and authorise us (and our payment processors) to charge the total amount of your order, including applicable taxes, fees, and shipping costs, as displayed at checkout.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
9.3 Orders and Confirmation
Your order or registration is an offer to purchase products or services from us.
We may accept or reject any order at our discretion.
An order is confirmed when we send you a confirmation email or otherwise clearly confirm acceptance.
9.4 Refunds and Cancellations
Unless otherwise stated for a specific product or event:
Event tickets and tournament entry fees:
If an event is cancelled by Gamedey, you will normally be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your ticket/entry to a rescheduled event.
If an event is postponed, tickets and entries will usually remain valid for the new date. Refund options, if any, will be communicated on the Site or by email.
If you cancel your own participation, refunds are not guaranteed and may be subject to deadlines and administrative fees, which will be specified on the event page.
Merchandise and physical products:
We may accept returns or exchanges within a limited period (for example, 7–14 days) from the delivery date, provided that products are unused, in original condition, and accompanied by proof of purchase.
Some items, such as customised products or sale items, may be non-refundable.
Digital products and services:
Digital products, downloadable content, and services that are delivered immediately are generally non-refundable once access has been granted, except where required by law.
Specific refund, cancellation, and return terms displayed at the point of purchase or on a product/event page will take precedence over this section.
10. Shipping and Delivery
If you purchase physical products from Gamedey:
Shipping Zones: We currently ship within Ghana and to selected countries in West Africa, as displayed at checkout.
Delivery Times: Any delivery timelines provided are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to factors beyond our control.
Risk of Loss: Risk of loss and title to the products pass to you when the products are delivered to the address you provide.
Customs and Duties: For international orders, you may be responsible for customs duties, taxes, and other charges imposed by your country. These charges are not included in our prices unless explicitly stated.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 Our Content
Unless otherwise stated, all content and materials on the Site and in the Services, including but not limited to:
the Gamedey name, logos, and branding;
text, images, graphics, videos, and audio;
event names, formats, and designs;
website design and layout;
are owned by or licensed to Gamedey and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not:
copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any part of the Site or Services without our prior written consent;
use our trademarks, logos, or branding in any manner that may cause confusion or imply endorsement without our prior written permission.
11.2 Third-Party Content
The Site and Services may contain content owned by third parties, including game publishers, partners, sponsors, and content creators. All such rights are reserved by their respective owners. Your use of third-party content may be subject to additional terms imposed by those owners.
12. User-Generated Content
You may be able to submit, upload, stream, or share content through the Site or Services, such as:
comments, posts, and messages;
photos, videos, and livestreams;
gameplay clips and highlights;
team logos, player tags, or other creative materials
(collectively, “User Content”).
12.1 Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that:
you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the User Content;
your User Content does not infringe or violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
your User Content is not unlawful, misleading, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise in violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12.2 Licence to Gamedey
By submitting User Content, you grant Gamedey a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence to:
use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display your User Content in connection with the Site, Services, and Gamedey’s activities;
use your User Content in marketing and promotional materials, including social media posts, highlight reels, and case studies.
This licence continues for as long as the User Content is protected by intellectual property rights, unless the law requires otherwise or you and Gamedey agree differently in writing.
12.3 Monitoring and Removal
We may, but are not obligated to:
monitor, review, or moderate User Content;
remove or disable access to any User Content that we believe violates these Terms or applicable law, or that we deem inappropriate.
We do not endorse User Content and are not responsible for it.
13. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site and Services may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services (such as payment providers, social media platforms, streaming platforms, or game publishers).
These third parties are not controlled by Gamedey.
We are not responsible for and do not endorse their content, policies, or practices.
Your use of third-party sites and services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties.
14. Privacy
Your use of the Site and Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains:
the types of personal data we collect;
how we use, share, and protect your personal data;
your rights and choices regarding your personal data.
Please review our Privacy Policy carefully before using the Site or Services.
15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
“As Is” and “As Available”
The Site and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.No Warranties
We specifically disclaim all implied warranties, including any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.No Guarantee of Availability

We are not responsible for any actions, errors, or failures of third-party platforms, games, or services used in connection with Gamedey.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gamedey Limited and its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for:
any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages;
any loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill;
any loss or damage arising out of or related to:
your use of or inability to use the Site or Services;
your participation in any event, tournament, or activity organised or supported by Gamedey;
any User Content or conduct of other users;
any unauthorised access to or use of your Account or data.
In all cases, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms or the Services will be limited to the amount you have paid to Gamedey for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or GHS 1,000 (one thousand Ghanaian cedi), whichever is lower.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so the above limitations may not fully apply to you. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gamedey Limited and its directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
your use of the Site or Services;
your User Content;
your violation of these Terms; or
your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
18. Suspension and Termination
We may, in our sole discretion and without prior notice:
suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Services;
suspend or terminate your Account;
remove or disable access to any of your User Content;
if we believe that you:
have violated these Terms or any applicable law;
pose a risk or potential harm to other users, Gamedey, or third parties;
are engaged in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful conduct.
Upon termination:
your right to use the Site and Services will immediately cease;
provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will continue to apply.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
19.1 Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Site or Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
19.2 Dispute Resolution
You agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute or claim informally by contacting us at info@gamedeygh.com with a description of your concern.
If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within a reasonable time, the dispute shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Accra, Ghana, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you may have under consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
20. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any policies or rules referenced in them (including our Privacy Policy and any Event/Tournament Rules), constitute the entire agreement between you and Gamedey regarding your use of the Site and Services.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Headings: Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect the interpretation of these Terms.
